About Craignay House

Craignay House is an established Guest House situated near the River Ness, beside the Northern Meeting Park, Highland Council Headquarters and opposite Eden Court Theatre in Inverness and just 5 minutes walk from the City Cnetre, rail, bus stations and all local amenities as well as being only 6 miles from Inverness Airport.

Owned by Rodney & Gail Delday, the house has undergone major refurbishment in every area.

The house itself is a B Listed Town House built in 1887 and contains many original features internally including grape and acorn cornicing, stain glass windows, American pitch pine wood throughout and wrought iron balustrade.

Its exterior is made from red sand stone from Tarradale Quarry on the Black Isle. This building really is a fine example of Victorian architecture rendering it desirable to preserve and contributing to this conservation area of Inverness.
